WB Starr will be completing the tree trimming project this year; it is expected to take at least 2-3 weeks to complete, (weather permitting). They are scheduled to start the 2nd week of November. The Board would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation while this necessary community maintenance item is completed.
After 30 years of repairs & top coating, we are finally investing in new asphalt that will improve both the quality of life and the home value for every resident of Flora Vista. The project is scheduled to begin the week of September 13, 2021. The asphalt removal and replacement will take several days, and will be done in phases throughout the community. We are planning to be done by the end of October. The seal coating will be done in the Spring. Additional notices and a phase map will be coming soon.
The Flora Vista Board of Directors and Action Property Management would like to wish all homeowners a happy and safe 4th of July! We hope that you get to share this special day with family and friends.
This is a friendly reminder that fireworks, even “safe and sane” ones, are prohibited in the City of San Clemente. Please refrain from using any personal fireworks on the property and plan on observing an approved fireworks display at a local venue.
We appreciate everyone’s cooperation in ensuring that this 4th of July is a fun and safe day for all residents!
The main entrance and two side entrances recently had renovations to the landscaping completed. The main entrance renovations include the addition of olive trees and removal of turf in favor of drought-tolerant plants. Given time to grow, these new plants and trees will fill in nicely to create an attractive, welcoming entrance to the community.
As a reminder, ALL alterations to the exterior of your home, including your front yard, back yard and home itself, MUST first have approval by the Flora Vista Architectural Committee.
To obtain the most recent ARC Guidelines and an ARC application, please download it through your VIVO account in the Homeowners Portal at https://resident.actionlife.com or click on the Architectural tab on this website.
The holiday season is just around the corner and soon it will be time to decorate your home and hang lights. The Board of Directors would like to encourage everybody to participate in the 2nd Annual Holiday Lighting Contest this year by offering prizes for the following categories:
Best Traditional
Most Whimsical
California Christmas
Judging will be by a volunteer committee that will inspect on the evening of December 19th. The prizes this year are $100.00 gift cards to Nick’s restaurant.
CORRECTION: Last year’s winners are eligible to win a prize again this year, and are also encouraged to display their 2018 Winner sign .
The current schemes are listed on the website as Scheme A1, A2, B1, etc. and the new schemes are listed below as Scheme 1 New, Scheme 2 New, and so on. A selection of new front door colors is at the bottom of the list.
Architectural Approval is required prior to painting your
home, whether repainting your home with the existing color or changing to a new
scheme.
As a reminder, most homes have underground drains that empty water and debris from your yards into the gutter along the street. We have found that many of the drains are not being maintained and are releasing algae and stagnant water into the streets, which is a health-hazard to the Community.
Please make sure you are maintaining and flushing out these drains on an ongoing basis, moving forward!
